This Animated Christmas Tree is made using four strings of lights. The star on top is made using 50 clear lights. Three strings of 100 count, greens lights are used to form the spiral rings of the tree and are wired in a 2,3,4,2,3,4,....sequence. The Tree was made using a 44" diameter sheet of Coro-Plast back board. The Tree's spiral pattern was 2" wide. A 14" diameter circle was left in the center for the 12" diameter star pattern. The mode selected for the Digital Light & Sign Controller, turns channel 1 (the star) "ON" always, and outputs the channel sequence, 2,3,4,2,3,4,.....repeat, to the spiral ring light strings. The user can change the speed and lamp brightness as needed.
